Pluralsight, NYC, new article, and more!
What a crazy couple of weeks! Two weeks ago, I was in Salt Lake City where I attended and presented at Pluralsight Live 2017. This was Pluralsight’s first conference and it went off without a hitch. Despite presenting RIGHT before Michelle Obama’s interview, I had a decent turn out for my talk on Video Production for Minimalists!
Once the conference kicked in, I got to see some friends, see Michelle Obama talk, and check out XAmbassadors perform for the PS audience. There may also have been numerous beverages and a piano bar involved.
But before the conference, I spent a couple days exploring the area, spending a couple nights in nearby Park City where I shot my first ever 360-degree video of a hot air balloon festival (make sure to watch it in a compatible browser and click and drag around to get the full effect!) and I captured some drone footage in the surrounding terrain! The 360 video is a bit rough, so go easy on me, but it was a fun experiment!
Next, I headed to NYC last week to teach at WABC for a week as they continue to transition their editors over the Premiere Pro.
Lastly, if you haven’t seen it yet, I just wrote a new article for screenlight.tv on creating Premiere Pro project file templates for some major time saving. Check it out here!
Oh and ONE MORE THING. Keep an eye out at pluralsight.com for my biggest course yet, Final Cut Pro X Fundamentals, due to hit any day now!
