I’m currently enjoying one of my favorite activities - drinking an iced mocha in a coffee shop while doing work - in San Francisco! I am close to done with my user group tour, with just one more stop in Chicago this Wednesday.
Things kicked off last Monday with a stop in Tucson where a great group of mostly Photoshop and Illustrator users turned up to learn a bit about bringing their logos and designs into Premiere to animate them. Thanks to Casey Chafouleas and AIGATucson for having me.
The next day I flew to Denver to talk about unique ways of animating text in After Effects for the Denver Adobe Creative Cloud user group run by the great Barb Binder and Melissa Piccone. I also got to meet Pluralsight folks Kassidi Coleman and Laura Hawk, who have been awesome enough to offer up lots of cool Pluralsight swag at each of my meetings, including a 1-year membership to the site to one lucky winner at each!
Then it was off to San Diego to talk about Premiere’s new Sound Essentials panel and the new motion graphic template workflow between Premiere and After Effects. That meeting had a great turnout with a lot of enthusiastic folks. Thanks to Eric Addison and DJ Summit for having me!
I got to take a peek at San Diego Comic-Con, even though I didn’t have a ticket sadly. But lots of cool people and things to see out on the streets!
Currently, I am relaxing for a few days in San Francisco with friends before my final stop in Chicago on Wednesday!
