Jason has spent most of his life in and around the nation's capital, but now travels between there and his new home of Glasgow, Scotland. After graduating from Penn State in 2005 with a degree in Film and a minor in English, he spent a year living abroad in New Zealand and basically spends any opportunity trying to convince people that it's the greatest place on Earth. After a stint as a Creative for Apple, Jason became a Apple Certified Trainer in 2009, followed shortly thereafter as an Adobe Certified Instructor. In 2012, Jason published his first training book, the Final Cut Pro X Cookbook and recently posted his first online training series, an Introduction to Premiere Pro CC 2015 for Pluralsight. Aside from teaching and video production, Jason loves travel, chocolate milk, his motorcycle, and going to concerts.
